Canadian police are looking for two criminals who attacked civilians in the settlement of James Smith Cree Nation, as well as in the city of Weldon. In addition to the dead, there are 15 injured.
Yesterday, September 4, two criminals staged a massacre in 13 places in the province of Saskatchewan, where the indigenous peoples of Canada live. This is reported by local publications and TV channels. According to the preliminary version of the police, both intended victims and completely random people fell under the knife of inadequate people – among those who survived, there are elderly and children.
Now the police are looking for two men named Sanderson – 31-year-old Damien and 30-year-old Miles. Whether they are relatives or just namesakes is not reported. The suspects managed to escape, and now the police are actively looking for them. It is known that they can travel by car, so the police issued warnings for the entire territory of the province, but there are fears that the criminals could hide in neighboring provinces, and the search should be extended to Alberta and Manitoba.
Sanders after the massacre was noticed in the city of Regina. It is located about 300 km from Weldon (between Weldon and James Smith, where the crimes were committed, about 25 km). Police have warned residents of Regina to take refuge in safe places and not leave them, and a state of emergency has been declared in the James Smith area.
