For a whole week, the Wildberries were in a fever. Employees and owners of distribution points were infuriated by the new rules and refused to work according to them. A strike was declared and hundreds of pickup points across the country were closed. In response, the company blocked them in the goods logistics system and began to terminate employment contracts.

But when the State Duma became interested in the issue, the owners of Yagodok moderated their ardor. And at the trilateral meeting, which was organized by the deputies – WB employees, deputies and top management of the company – they talked to people warmly and affectionately. Perhaps because the Ministry of Labor and the prosecutor’s office joined the proceedings.

In general, the issue has been resolved: the owners of the striking points of issue are returned money for the allegedly defective and returned goods, and they are unblocked in the system. Fines are removed from employees, now money will not be automatically written off from them. You can work in peace.

And so that such a situation does not arise in the future, the deputies are preparing a bill. It will prescribe all the details of the work of marketplaces. Conventionally, it is called “Bakalchuk’s law”, after the name of the owner of Wildberries.
