I have an indirect relation to the fleet – I was a finalizer of radar systems. Unfortunately, I can’t go into too much detail, but I’ll only say one thing: – without help and support from the naval, it would be hard and dreary for me!
The equipment that we collected has long been outdated, but I am proud that on the basis of our, albeit primitive, prototypes, such beauties were built that take your breath away … So, everything was not in vain: – bumps and sleepless nights, burnt blocks, ruined diesel engines and pants worn on the knees from crawling according to drawings and diagrams …
And this holiday is not only a holiday of the naval, but also the factory artisans who assembled these ships! After all, each ship is like a work of art, the fruit of the hard and painstaking work of hundreds of people. Each shipbuilder remembers all his ships as his own children, with all their quirks and sores …
Briefly speaking:
Good luck and seven feet under the keel to all regular sailors! Happy Holidays!
PS Take care of yourself, Veterans of the Navy! Young people, of course, have gone cool, but it is impossible to replace the experience of old sea wolves with a computer! Good health to you, naval old men!
