Danish cyclist Knut Jensen fell off his bike during the scorching heat at the 1960 Olympics in Rome, Italy. Having hit the asphalt, he received a fracture of the base of the skull and died the same day.
According to official information, the cause of death was a heart attack. However, an autopsy revealed that he had amphetamines and blood pressure medications in his system.
