Considering that even if the gas was actually produced initially on the planet, then it could be a non-biological method unknown to scientists.
German and American researchers decided to double-check the data obtained by their colleagues using the stratospheric observatory of infrared astronomy – SOFIA.
The scientists collected spectroscopic data in the far infrared at an altitude of 75-110 kilometers above the surface of Venus.
The result was an unequivocal conclusion: the initial indicators were not confirmed, in the atmosphere of Venus, if there are traces of gas, then they are minimal and do not confirm the theory of the existence of life on the planet.
