Gazmanov, by the way, has already commented on his inclusion in the sanctions list: “What can I say? I’m not an official, I’m not a military leader, not a deputy, not a senator. I’m a singer, composer and poet, whose songs are loved by millions of people. I’m a citizen who loves his Motherland, and a person who has his own opinion about what is happening, different from the opinion of Western officials. And for all this and for the fact that I support my president, sanctions are imposed on me.”
People’s Artist of Russia considered it an honor to be on this list.
