The story of the teacher of the works of the small Canadian town of Oakville has long been in the public domain.
Last year, Stephen the Trudovik was accused of being too masculine and completely disliking trances, and then he decided to show by his own example the whole absurdity of the current situation. He put on a huge false chest to the navel, a blond wig and shorts. He declared that he was now Kayla Lemieux, and began to conduct lessons in this form. Pupils and parents were somewhat taken aback by such a performance and, having held a meeting, wrote a petition against such an appearance of the teacher. The petition, by the way, collected 16,000 signatures.
The case reached Ontario Education Minister Stephen Lecce. On September 26, he asked the Ontario College of Education to review and consider strengthening the professional conduct provisions. In particular, deal with the item on the dress code for teachers. In the meantime, the Trudovik decided to go all the way and showed up at a meeting of the Halton County School Board with his mega-bust and tried to submit a petition calling for the dismissal of the board and the school principal.
“Who will accept this petition? Which one of you cowards, which one of you waking cowards will take up this petition?”
The meeting went on for 4 hours and actually ended in nothing. The question of the dress code remained open, the fear of offending a tolerant society this time overpowered common sense. And this means that the struggle of the Trudovik is not over yet.
