The musician has been hosting the Aerostat program on the air of Radio Russia since 2005, but after he proved his position towards Russia not by word, but by deed, the doors of domestic radio stations closed for him.
On March 21, Grebenshchikov performed at the Sound of Peace festival in Berlin, where dozens of performers participated. Together we raised €12 million to help Ukraine. After this “noble gesture”, Boris Borisych, with a clear conscience and a bright face, returned to Russia again to continue his musical activities, but something went wrong.
The Aerostat program was taken off the air on Radio Russia, but the musician did not despair and tried to settle down on Our Radio. But what was his surprise when ungrateful listeners literally attacked the social networks of the radio station after the announcement of his program.
Nashe Radio was hit in full for their decision to air “a traitor who donated 12 million euros to kill Russian people.”
The former general producer of Nashe Radio, Mikhail Kozyrev, said that, in addition to indignant listeners, prosecutors became interested in them and promised to personally check them.
The management decided not to take risks and remove Aerostat from the air out of harm’s way.
In March, Grebenshchikov announced that Aquarium’s concerts had been canceled “until better times, for obvious reasons.” Concerts were planned in Kaluga, Tula, Voronezh and Moscow.
