The first thought that flashes through your head when you look at the portraits made by photographer Vladimir Bondarev is “they don’t shoot like that now.” And indeed it is. It seems that the era when the photographer sought to express not himself, but the hero of the portrait has irrevocably gone. Individuality has been replaced by standards of beauty. Naturalness – “Photoshop”. And of course, the heroes of these portraits themselves have changed, and many of them are no longer alive.
